My December 15th card

My December 15th card.
I received  the snowman in a swap about 6 or 8 years ago.
The sentiment ia from a card I received last year.
The card base is from a pack of color cardstock from Walmart. I have a slightly smaller card inside that  is from the same pack and is orange, the local school colors

November 13

Just a quick update.
Trying to catch up my blog addres.
I've been working on a few Cards, will send pictures from my phone soon.
Not sure if I will decorate much this year. Not putting up a tree with a very active mid sized dog who loves to torment the less than a year old cat who loves to torment him back. A Tree will not survie their rough housing.  I am thinking of keeping it low key this year with just a few decorations on the walls.

A quick update.

I have had Christmas 2022 on my mind this week.
The feelings and cozy feelings  I  want to have in the house.
I wish to make cookies and a little bit of candy. I want the smells of Christmas in the house.

I am thinking of doing a Christmas Blessing chain of colored  papers with a blessing every day added to the links, each day. Much like the paper chains we use to make for the classroom trees we had in our classrooms.
I am also thinking of setting up a paper nativity on one wall, that shows Mary and Joseph  on their way to Bethlehem.
I don't expect we will have any company so I will be doing it for my own pleasure.

July 2022

Hello.  Can you believe it, there are only 5 months before we Celebrate Christmas.
The foods
The decorations
The REason
The joy
don't forget the stress, as well.

On the 25 of each month leading up to December 25, is called Rudolf day. A Day to have a mini Christmas. Maybe you want to watch a Christmas themed movie, or eat a food that is special to you for just the Christmas season. Maybe you work on a craft, or a gift for that special someone.  Or maybe you just shut out the world and enjoy a day of peace and get back in touch with the child inside yourself.

April 10, 2022

Just a few updates.
Gardening is starting later this year, due to come very cold weather. We had a heavy frost last night and a hard feeeze Friday night. It looks like we might have yet one more night in the upper 30's in about 10 more days, that is as far out as the weather can predict and they are not right very often. I am in hopes that they are not right on this one, as well.
The Greenhouse is about half way assembled.  I hope to finish it tomorrow and then get some seeds started.  I want to test some seeds and start some for my garden boxes at the community garden. Just not sure how many I will be able to do, right now.

Both my Hubby and I have had a few minor health issues to deal with over the last few weeks. We hope we have everything under control.  WE do hope to get some good news, Health wise, soon.
